About Our Color Therapy Workshops
Hope is a certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach.
Art therapy can be defined in many ways, but the simplest way to define it is an application of the visual arts in a therapeutic context. Creating art engages both sides of the brain to combine motion with thought. The left side of the brain’s functions includes communication, repetition, and detail; the right side controls imagery, memory, and creativity. If you're stressed, color therapy can help soothe you so that you can regain your psychological balance.
If you're depressed, color therapy can be used to invigorate you and give you increased energy. How? Specific colors evoke emotion. For instance, blue is calming, and yellow stimulates happiness.
Take a day, reconnect with your imagination, and improve your health!

Adults enjoy our Pour Painting class. It's a great introductory to painting, because of its abstract nature. New artists feel more successful and enjoy their creations. Kids enjoy our Mermaid Painting class, where they can meet a real mermaid while painting magical creatures like mermaids and unicorns.
Prices vary, based on the size of your canvas and number in your party.
